Webinár bude zameraný na scite_ – online nástroj, ktorý pomáha vyhľadávať a hodnotiť vedecké články pomocou technológie Smart Citations. Používatelia tak môžu vidieť, ako bola publikácia citovaná v pôvodnom kontexte. Poskytuje tiež klasifikáciu, ktorá ukazuje, či publikácia poskytuje podporné alebo protichodné dôkazy pre citované tvrdenie.

Pomocou scite_ môžu odborníci sledovať metriky inteligentných citácií na úrovni článkov, časopisov, organizácií a sponzorov. Vedci potom môžu analyzovať odkazy vo svojich vlastných dokumentoch a študenti môžu klásť odborné otázky v zrozumiteľnom jazyku a získavať odpovede priamo z úplných textov odborných článkov. Rozšírenie prehliadača umožňuje používateľom zobraziť inteligentné citácie kedykoľvek počas čítania odborného článku online.

This webinar (in English language) will focus on the scite_ tool – a database that can be used to discover and evaluate scientific articles via Smart Citations. Smart Citations allow users to see how a publication has been cited, as they provide the context of the citation. They also provide a classification that describes whether the publication has supporting or contrasting evidence for the cited claim.

With the scite_ tool, researchers can check Smart Citation metrics at the level of articles, journals, organizations, and funders. Scholars can run reference analyses on their own papers. Students can ask research questions in plain language and get answers directly from the full text of research articles. A browser extension enables users to see Smart Citations anywhere they're reading a scientific article online.

scite_ recently launched the scite_ Assistant feature, which validates AI-generated texts and ensures there are no false statements, providing a source reference for every statement made. All publicly available resources from scite_ are below:
